Kevin Chen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Genetics at Rutgers University where he received the NIH Pathway to Independence (K99/R00) Award. He did his PhD at UC Berkeley and undergrad at Princeton University, both in computer science, and was awarded the NDSEG and NSF Graduate Fellowships. He was previously an NIH Ruth L. Kirschstein Postdoctoral Fellow at New York University. He is on the editorial board of PLoS Computational Biology.
